Improved economic conditions are expected to increase consumer spending. A recent national report shows that holiday shoppers plan to spend $1,440 for holiday expenses, and yet less than half plan to stick to a budget for holiday spending.[1]

‘Tis the season to shop and spend, but before you swipe that credit card—there are a few budgeting tips individuals and families should consider to ensure they manage their finances during the holiday rush.

Rachel Lesiw, Indulge Beauty Studios to Host Charity Event for Infant Orphans

Indulge Beauty Studio will be offering free portraits in return for dry baby foods Sunday, September 22. The event is being put on in support of South Korean infant orphans involved with a struggling international adoption system.

Rachel Lesiw, owner of Indulge Beauty Studios, will be accepting food products such as rice cereals, yogurt puffs, and yogurt meals to provide for infants that project to be without families for extended periods of time due to legislation that has passed in South Korea.

“I was adopted from South Korea when I was a baby, and now my husband and I have adopted two of our three kids from South Korea as well,” said Lesiw. “[These] children used to come home when they were only a few months old. Now, [they] are coming home around the age of two, if not older.”

Adoption Agencies in South Korea are facing unique challenges following this legislative change and are welcoming the assistance of willing donators.
