October Encore in the Rose Garden

October Encore in the Rose Garden

Spring isn't the only time to visit the Historic Rose Garden. Many of the roses that early Sacramentans loved bloom again and again. Join curator Anita Clevenger to discover the old roses that take an encore in the fall, often with deeper colors and better flowers than earlier in the year. We will stroll, snip and sniff roses to our hearts' content in the midst of our beautiful, historic cemetery. Join us at the Sacramento Historic City Cemetery for this special tour on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

The tour is free, however, donations are gratefully accepted and benefit cemetery preservation. The cemetery is located at 1000 Broadway, Sacramento. There is free street parking on surrounding streets. For more information, call 916-448-0811.
