"Rise of the Guardians" Movie & "Rocklin Has Talent" Finals this Friday

The City of Rocklin Parks and Recreation's Friday Evening in the Park FREE Movie series concludes it's summer run this Friday, August 16, with "Rise of the Guardians".  The finals of "Rocklin Has Talent" will take place before the movie, starting at 7:00 p.m.  Come on out and see some amazing talent, as 15 finalists compete in three age groups.  The finals will also feature entertainer Kenn Serrano, a former Sacramento Has Talent finalist as our Master of Ceremonies.  We hope to see you there!

Community Events: India Day 2013 in Sacramento

The event celebrates Indian independence from British rule on Aug. 15, 1947. Sacramento India Day, now in its eighth year, was presented by the Indian Association of Sacramento. It normally draws about 1,700 people. It is the only day of the year when all the Indian organizations in Sacramento come together and perform under one roof. The event is FREE to attend so a lot of expenses are covered by the Vendor.
